GOLDOC Commonwealth Games

In 2018, the Commonwealth Games were hosted at our home town, the Gold Coast. In partnership with Griffith University’s Queensland College of Art, Melody Clark (University Student at the time) was tasked with producing imagery around three themes: performance and control, mind and body and pushing the limits. She created a series of emotive portraits that captured athletes on a deeper level. The project followed two athletes - Tibbs Mpofu (track athlete) and Jacob Richards (Muay Thai).
